Snow and Bitter Cold Cancels ASCS Western Plains Opener At El Paso County Raceway
Bryan Hulbert - CALHAN, Colo. (April 15, 2025) With the forecast for this weekend’s ASCS Western Plains Region opener at El Paso County Raceway showing snow and bitter cold Friday night into Saturday, the decision has been made to call off this Saturday's showdown.
Focus now turns to the faceoff between the ASCS Western and Northern Plains Region at Lincoln County Raceway in North Platte, Neb., on Saturday, April 26.
Reminder that all drivers must have a current DIRTcar Membership.
Memberships can be purchased at https://www.dirtcarmembers.com and are $135 for the season.
The 2025 season marks the 34th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
