Carney Returns to ASCS Red River Action Following 305 Win Streak.
TMR Promotions – LUBBOCK, Texas (August 25, 2015) – John Carney II will return to ASCS 360ci competition this Friday and Saturday night with the ASCS Red River Region following a dominating 305ci win streak in west Texas.
In Carney’s last three feature event starts, he has claimed victory in those features. One coming at the Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas during weekly 305ci competition on Friday, August 21 and two at the Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas also in 305ci competition on August 15 and August 22.
Carney will be racing close to home again this weekend as he will be in action at the Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas on Friday, August 28 and the Abilene Speedway in Abilene, Texas on Saturday, August 29 with the ASCS Red River Region.
Carney looks forward using his advantage of racing weekly 305’s at Red River Speedway to increase his chances of seeking his second victory of the season with the ASCS Red River Region at the quarter-mile oval.
Looking back on 2014 for John Carney Racing at the Abilene Speedway finished ninth in the last outing to the west Texas oval with the ASCS Lone Star Region in July of 2014 and placed a top five finish in April of 2014.
John Carney currently holds twelve victories on the 2015 season which include both winged and non-wing sprint car racing and also holds 24 top five finishes. Carney went on to say that all of this could not be possible without the help of all his crew and his sponsors.
