Hinchman Racewear Eagle Nationals Showcases Best National and Local Talent
Inside Line Promotions – OWASSO, Okla. (May 20, 2015) – Jack Dover is eager to start a new streak after his six-year span of at least one Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour feature win was snapped last season.
The best opportunity for the Nebraska native is at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Neb., which hosts the premier 360ci sprint car series on Saturday, May 30, for the Hinchman Racewear Eagle Nationals.
“It’s a pretty big event,” said Dover, who lives a short drive from the high-banked, third-mile oval. “I always expect to win that one.”
Dover leads a strong local contingent of competitors with five straight top 10s in the event, including a victory in 2011.
“It’s the raciest track, I know that,” he said. “It just makes you drive that much harder and when you do that it puts on a better show for the fans.”
Dover is one of five different winners during the six main events since the Hinchman Racewear Eagle Nationals has been under the TBJ Promotions banner.
“There are several local drivers, including Jack Dover, who will be a contender to win this year,” TBJ Promotions Founder Tony Bruce Jr. said. “There will be a lot of talented Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour drivers looking to pick up the victory as well. It’s definitely an action-packed event that features the best of Nebraska versus the best of the ASCS National Tour.”
Johnny Herrera leads the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour into the event with three second-place finishes in his last four Hinchman Racewear Eagle Nationals. Wayne Johnson also has multiple top fives at the event. The most recent ASCS National Tour winner, Seth Bergman, has a top-five finish and the championship points leader, Aaron Reutzel, powered to a top five last season.
