Inside Line Promotions – BURLISON, Tenn. (March 10, 2015) – Brandon Hanks is feeling much better following a couple weeks of rest.
In fact, Hanks feels well enough to compete this Friday and Saturday at Flint Creek Speedway in West Siloam Springs, Okla., during the inaugural ASCS Red River Region event assuming he doesn’t have any setbacks this week.
“I think I’m healed from the mono,” he said. “I went back to work today and don’t feel tired. We’ll take it slow just to begin, but I think we’re going to be fine and we’ll go after the ‘W’ like we try every weekend.”
Hanks competed at the track one time last season. He was in contention for a top five throughout the main event before a flat left rear tire sent him to the pits early.
“That was one of those good nights that got away from us,” he said. “From what I could tell I really liked that place. I’m excited to go back and try again.”
Hanks hasn’t been able to compete since the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour’s season-opening event in Florida in the middle of February because of an illness.
