Bruce Jr. Seeking Win During Debut at Flint Creek Speedway This Friday

Inside Line Promotions – OWASSO, Okla. (March 8, 2015) – Tony Bruce Jr. will make his debut at Flint Creek Speedway this Friday.

Bruce Jr. is set to tackle the bullring in West Siloam Springs, Okla., which is approximately an hour from his home, during the ASCS Red River Region season opener.

“This will be a first for me,” he said. “I know it’s a small track. From some of the stories I’ve heard it’s a nice, tight bullring. That’s something that always get me excited to go race.”

Bruce Jr. said smaller tracks are his preference.

“I mostly like the smaller tracks because mainly there’s nowhere to hide,” he said. “On big tracks leaders can get out front, hide and set sail. On small tracks you have to get after it every single lap; make sure you’re doing your job as a driver.”

The goal for Friday is to tally the first mark in the victory list this season.

“That’s why we all do this is to win races,” he said. “Our ultimate goal is to go out there and pick up the ‘W.’ We want to make a statement that said we did our work all winter long.”

Bruce Jr. has recorded a victory in his home state of Oklahoma each of the past two seasons.
